Mata vs Silva (Who would you pick)

These are probably the best two Spaniard in the league right now (Honorable mention to Carzorla and Michu)

Both play similar positions and are key players for their teams. Silva has amazing footwork while Mata is a better goal scorer.

So trying to be as unbiased as possible, who would you rather have in your lineup ?

If Silva had a finishers touch he'd be very close to Messi, but as it is he's the best Spaniard in the English game followed by Carzola IMO, I thought he was immense at our place!

I see both points but your gonna butt heads blind here.

Silva has as good a ball control as Messi, he is not utilized in the same manor though, nor do we see it it as often.

That is not a knock on David ofc as Messi is different to your average comparison.

Then you have Messi's finishing, that is something David would need to work on a fair bit to emulate.

The foundation is there though, his ball control is second to none imo.

Agree with the Messi Comparisons but Silva is a better player than Cesc for me hands down

Whichever one plays for City, id say them, so obviously Silva. Silva and Mata are both incredible players. Couldnt pick between them.

I have reached the point where on this occasion I am so totally unbiased I could have picked the Werewolf of Leytonstone, but, seriously, Mata is the poor man's Silva. I wouldn't mind Cazorla in our midfield, though!
