Just a quick running comparison, match for match same fixtures in PL, how we are doing...
Had to assign the promoted clubs to relegated ones, used same order in promotion/relegation.

Good thing is, Spurs away coming up, we lost that last season, that cannot make our total stat worse. :)

Who've you swapped out for Leeds because it technically should be Norwich (first up, first down).

Edit: See it's Bournemouth but should be Norwich, so we gain a point in which case it's -3, not that it matters.

Can’t believe mores not being made about how hard our fixtures have been so far

after spurs in our next game (another incredibly difficult game) we will have played 5 away and only 3 at home which will have been against the champions, the leaders and Arsenal

surely nobody has had a start anywhere near that difficult?

all these whilst missing key players and not having a striker on the pitch

When everything is considered, our point return is ok

18th with first team up makes sense, best team to come up with the best to go down.

not really, if only 1 team went down then only 1 team would come up, so a like-for-like swap. If only the Champions came up then Leeds would have swapped with Norwich. Plus Norwich came up as champions too and we played them away early in the season so it's a more direct comparison of how we fared in those types of games.

3 went up though.... the best comparison would be after 38 games, and it isn't looking good.

The best thing about our league form is we are drawing games we would probably have lost last season. Plus 5 cup wins, put in context ref. COVID, No pre season, injuries, in some state of transition, plus let’s be honest not playing well, then I’d say this is one of the best starts we have had.
