After the official confirmation, the Fohlenelf took to the drenched pitch to thank the travelling faithful for making the journey. The Borussia supporters stayed behind long after the decision, making plenty of noise inside the Etihad Stadium. “I feel very sorry for the fans,” said Oscar Wendt. “I think 90 percent off them will have to travel back tonight or tomorrow morning. It’s a real shame for them – and for us.” A decision will be made soon on what will happen in regards to unused tickets.

BM are cognisant of the main issue even if City avoid it, and very few people will be able to get through to customer services.

Surely its UEFA who decide?? so if they're late its their fault.. the fail fail again.

Saw this last night too
Well done Fail again

No fail. It's the two clubs that have to decide. BMG wanted an early kick off, firstly midday so they could fly home afterwards. Then 6pm. City said no as they couldn't get the stewards in. Lot of back and forth before agreeing on tonight at 7:45pm. Clubs have to announce next fixture date and time within two hours of the postponement and they didn't. But it wouldn't be just City that would be fined, if they went down that route it would be both clubs.

nethen, i might have found where the confusion lies.

according to the oxford...

The verb ought is a modal verb and this means that, grammatically, it does not behave like ordinary verbs. In particular, the negative is formed with the word not alone and not also with auxiliary verbs such as do or have.
Thus the standard construction for the negative is he ought not to have gone.

So you were right all along?

How does that stand for fans on the cup scheme ? Can we get a refund as can't make it tonight. 300 mile round trip is to much 2 days running .
Was wondering if you were going to try again, getting stuck in the parking lot for an hour after didn't help

if UEFA dont permit City to sell tickets for tonight's game, can they let fans in for free who have a Citycard?
