Anyone know if it's on tv tonight ?

BT Sport/ESPNAnyone know if it's on tv tonight ?
They say it's on BT Sport. I fail to understand why City are not allowed to sell tickets for the many thousand seats that were not taken up for the originally scheduled game. Surely their computer records would show that the seats had not been allocated so that no possible duplication can arise. Now it looks as if a 35K crowd is the maximum likely.Anyone know if it's on tv tonight ?

You were no safer travelling home in that in the immediate aftermath of the storm, in fact you'd have been safer at 10pm. Same for me.I was sat in one of the car parks when it was called off. I was half expecting it to be announced that ko would be put back by an hour. I don't know whether the lightening had stopped in Manchester by say 9pm as I was passing Huddersfield by then (still enjoying spectacular displays of lightening). But there was no chance that the game could have kicked off at 7.45 irrespective of the state of the pitch
You have to love the Daily Fail:
However, it remains to be seen if they will face a sanction from UEFA after confirmation of the rescheduled date and time came 40 minutes outside a two-hour deadline following the postponement.

Haha someone posted we'd get fined for the game being called off.
Boooooooooooooo
Surely its UEFA who decide?? so if they're late its their fault.. the fail fail again.
Sod off, I've just just had Salford Royal wire my central nervous system up to the mains, grammar isn't my top priority at the minute :-)too well - take it easy
Isnt there a rule about lightning though, it was still lightning around manchester at 8:30, granted not right above the groundYou were no safer travelling home in that in the immediate aftermath of the storm, in fact you'd have been safer at 10pm. Same for me.
Rainfall radar picks up the storm cells and it's freely available to anyone with an Internet connection so a 5 year old could have seen that the edge of the most intense part of the storm had already left Manchester central by 7.15pm.
There would have been an argument to call it off earlier to prevent the mass of locals travelling, but not at 7.15pm when nearly everyone had travelled and would immediately start travelling back again through flooded streets.
They also had the option of delaying KO.
This will happen again so I hope the club learn from this.
