OH NO. MATCH OF THE DAY DIDN'T SAY POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT MY FOOTBALL TEAM. THEY MUST HATE US. THEY DO THIS EVERY WEEK. OH NO.

Can understand it when we lose, but today we won ? yet scruffy bastard Shearer chooses the negative aspect of ONE OF OUR PLAYERS

I take it you missed the half of Shearer's analysis that said he was capable of sublime skill? Or do you just forget that part because he said something positive? It was a textbook 50/50 analysis of a player that you see done after pretty much every game, show the good parts, shows the bad parts, come up with a state the obvious conclusion.

It makes no difference whether you win or lose. They talk about talking points. Today Balotelli and Dzeko were talking points. They talked about both of them. It's pretty simple really.

Balotelli good: "Skillful player."
Balotelli bad: "Petulant."
Conclusion: "He can be a liability."

Dzeko good: "Scoring for fun, excellent goals."
Dzeko bad: "Starts on the bench, dilemma for Mancini."
Conclusion: "City have an abundance of talent."

Do you also ignore the fact they used quotes such as:

"That was the stuff of champions." - Gary Lineker.

Yeah really biased. How do they get away with it? The only thing they can be accused of is unoriginal punditry, rehashing things too much and being generally uninformative.

yes he was ok,,,not the worlds best by any stretch of your imagination

Why I said one of the best never said THE best. But 283 goals and 30 for England is more than Mario will ever achieve in his career and you can save that quote and pick me up on it in 10 years if you wish.

linekar was better
...mario wont score any for england hes italian

Was Evra booked today, he clattered somebody and the ref waved play on. Was he then booked later?

No, only Scholes was booked and could have walked later on but as usual didn't. Still no red cards for them since the 6-1, almost the 1 year anniversary of that massacre too.
