Match of the Day - 2012/13

I thought they were pretty fair too. They were bound to talk about Balotelli, because he makes himself a talking point in almost every game. I thought he was pretty good today though, his all round play was impressive on the whole.

I was actually surprised by Redknapp, I assumed he would give unequivocal backing to Ferguson but he rose in my estimations by firmly backing Ferdinand. Admittedly that's only from sycophantic, bent, cockney spiv to bent, cockney spiv but it's a step in the right direction.

And McDermott said that if Roberts didn't feel able to wear the Kick It Out shirt then it was his decision and he accepted that. Baconface makes himself look a twat again.

It's almost as if the old pisscan is woefully out of touch with the current zeitgeist.

Blown out of the water, I heard.

ferguson more concerned with the perceived challenge to his authority than he is about racism - despicable man

Agreed but it could also be argued that Camelgob is more interested in keeping the family feud alive with Terry than he is in backing a campaign that has done so much good. I would also question as to whether he has any right to wear the shirt given his own questionable language, or backing of language on Twatter?

The whole situation is becoming a fecking mess if you ask me, very disappointing and it paints a picture of a game, riddled with racism when for me, that just isn't the case.

OH NO. MATCH OF THE DAY DIDN'T SAY POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT MY FOOTBALL TEAM. THEY MUST HATE US. THEY DO THIS EVERY WEEK. OH NO.

Can understand it when we lose, but today we won ? yet scruffy bastard Shearer chooses the negative aspect of ONE OF OUR PLAYERS

I take it you missed the half of Shearer's analysis that said he was capable of sublime skill? Or do you just forget that part because he said something positive? It was a textbook 50/50 analysis of a player that you see done after pretty much every game, show the good parts, shows the bad parts, come up with a state the obvious conclusion.

It makes no difference whether you win or lose. They talk about talking points. Today Balotelli and Dzeko were talking points. They talked about both of them. It's pretty simple really.

Balotelli good: "Skillful player."
Balotelli bad: "Petulant."
Conclusion: "He can be a liability."

Dzeko good: "Scoring for fun, excellent goals."
Dzeko bad: "Starts on the bench, dilemma for Mancini."
Conclusion: "City have an abundance of talent."

Do you also ignore the fact they used quotes such as:

"That was the stuff of champions." - Gary Lineker.

Yeah really biased. How do they get away with it? The only thing they can be accused of is unoriginal punditry, rehashing things too much and being generally uninformative.

Which is pretty much what the match day forum said all afternoon!

It's all true.

Fucking twats just didn't even mention Scholes should have seen red today. He took out a stoke player from behind and already had a yellow card.

Total bias...
Disgusting...

You know its different rules for that lot
Red card offense = yellow card
yellow card offense = hardly given

So many times this year alone. RVP v Pool, Wellbeck v Wigan- ref bottled reds for these and so many yellows not given esp Scholes.
