Yakov makes a meal of it, but if it's simply highlighting what is a red card offense, then the offender can have no complaints.

Not being touchy, in isolation there is no problem but when it is part of the usual Shearer narrative it is annoying.
With all the tech in the world it sometimes wouldn't help the big calls
For me I thought the penalty for Leicster was just that. A penalty. It's a red as well. It's from behind, he does take the ball but he takes Vardys leg first and it's not a clean tackle. Last man so he has to go if it's a foul.
2nd pen shout wasn't and again the correct decision. This time Vardy leaves his legs in and is looking for it. He could stay on his feet there. That really winds me up that. It's cute and clever but it's also cheating.
Most people would have those calls the other way around so I'm in the minority, but even video wouldn't always help

He's a langer alright.Klopp's a bit of a **** isn't he? He was screaming at the ref like a right knob at Sunderland all game, moaning about high feet (it's not the continent Klopp you soft fucker!) and physical play, and then seeing his arse in that post-match interview today.

Vardy threw himself to the ground a bit for that second one, not given but definitely a pen according to shearer. In that case kun's was nailed on against Leicester last game.
For 1st I thought a tackle from behind was when you went through the player, they seem to have given some validity to the interpretation by the ref. Any qualified refs out there to say how you are told to interpret this?
