Something like that Pee-arse season, yeah? What, making him watch the first half of the rags v Liverpool? Gentle, comfortable drift into the yonder as you are bored to death and lose the will to live.

Agree with all of that, we are getting a tad touchy. I feel there was a lot of over the topnstuff said about the Sergio tackle. This small time mentality really needs to stop. We haven't got in the top three of goal of the month, we're not in the first two on MOTD, no one likes us and it's not fair! The media don't fawn over us every single day. They often write positive articles about the rags and the dippers. Oh dear.
We have won 2 out of 4 premier leagues and hopefully 3 out of 5. We have possibly got one of the best four or five squads/teams in Europe. We've won 11 games on the bounce with 7 consecutive clean sheets. It's all good.
Why do some people seek out any sentence that could have a negative slant? Why do the same people state that journalists are all idiots and yet seem to hang on their every word?
Finally, why have some on here become tiresome boors who think like the followers of the dark side of Manchester? Examples including, but not limited to: All Palace fans are wankers because there my have been one or two who were pleased that Sergio had to go off injured.
How soon has the league been won? Most consecutive wins? And, really, the classic in the old agenda thread; anything that is now praising anyone else, especially anyone playing in red, is now part of the rabid anti City conspiracy. Jesus, we've never had it this good. Our team is fucking top notch. Rip the piss out of any rag you know or meet and enjoy the ride, it's only just started!!
I have thought for a while that he is not doing a live commentary. As above his efforts seem out of sync. I keep expecting him to say "you did not mean to do that" per Harry EnfieldHe shouted "Bolasieeeee" about 8 seconds before he had a shot.
Had it been much more over the top it would have missed Sergio completely. ;-)Agree with all of that, we are getting a tad touchy. I feel there was a lot of over the topnstuff said about the Sergio tackle.

Ahh, I've only noticed this on last week's show. I thought my recording was faultyThe commentary has been out of sync for many a year. The picture is delayed so that what the commentator is saying matches up with the action. When he anticipates something it effectively puts it way ahead of the footage.

Young kids means i rarely have the energy to stay up on a saturday night to watch it. I record it and watch it sunday morning. fast forward all the supossed "punditry" and just watch the action. You see everything you want to in 35 - 40 mins or less - And you havnt got to listen to has-beens clinging to any supposed notion of how the game should be played.
My kids have long since grown up (29 & 33), but I still can't stay up long enough to watch it myself. Definitely an age thingy. Not just me then!
