Match of the Day - 2015/16

I've haven't stayed up to watch it for years. I much prefer to record it and then watch it at my leisure. I enjoy fast-forwarding the biased drivel bits and any rag win or draw. But a rag defeat means I can watch and re-watch the whole thing. Slo-Mo as well!

I usually fall asleep as shearer's voice is a great cure for insomnia. I have to record it as if we are not 1st or 2nd on I will miss a couple of games then wake up. I then do a similar thing but find myself comparing the rag possession and shot statistics with the apparent battering they give the other side shown in the highlights.

I'm suffering from insomnia at the minute, haven't been to sleep since Monday. I might give shearer a watch.
 
Did nobody watch?

How did they cover the ref/West Ham's tactics or was the defeat all down to overpriced centre half's?

We were bad and West ham were excellent. Apparently, anyway.

Didn't reflect the absolute battering we gave them in my opinion. They butchered navas as well.

It's amazing what a bit of bbc editing can do,if you hadn't watched the second half live you would have thought it was pretty even ..
 
I knew that they would use editing to distort the game and make it look as even as possible but I gave it a watch to see if they would tell the truth just for once. But no...

Never mentioned the fact that we had won 11 games in a row which i'm sure they would have found time for had it been the rags.

Praised their passing despite only having about 27% possession.

Showed virtually every attack that West Ham had and barely any of ours.

Alan Shearer said that West Ham deserved to win despite the fact that we had 30 chances and they couldn't even get out of their own half after 30 minutes.

Highlighted the poor performance of Navas instead of De Bruyne's brilliant debut. No doubt they ignored it because of how stupid they would look after labelling him a flop who failed at Chelsea.

Nothing like a bit of unbiased coverage of a City game on MOTD.
