Match of the Day - 2016/17

The foul by Yaya was the Only thing that went Swansea's way in the first half. the only thing!

The organisation that will automatically broadcast United FA Cup matches due to perceived audience demand also puts a highlights package together that is negatively misrepresentative of a City match.

Surely that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone?

Even by MOTD standards that was genuinely fucking incredible. 45 minutes of utter domination, with 82% possession and umpteen fucking chances, reduced to the goal and a free kick, and, er that's it. They then show Sterling's laughable yellow card for allegedly diving for a penalty that he didn't even appeal for, and a foul by Ya Ya, and chuck in a non-descript Swansea header from a corner, before inviting Paul Clement to rant and whine about a soft free kick given for a foul against Kolarov, that Clichy then took from 5 yards further back (yep, that's right, back not forward) than he should have and which ultimately led to our winner. Then enter Steptoe and Jenas to back Clement's ridiculous claim, whilst not giving any air time to Fer being clearly offside for Swansea's goal, and Dolly Daydream to tell us the atmosphere was crap! Probably the most unrepresentative edit of a game I've ever seen. What a set of unbelievable cnuts
I bet Frank enjoyed it.

I too thought in the ground Kolarov got lucky with that, it wasn't really a foul, maybe a soft one. But that rolling ball comment. The ball stopped rolling the moment it was kicked. At least that's how I saw it from CB. I don't see the problem of it taken further back and in history it hasn't been a problem at all.

I'm in CB as well. Level 1, 131. Bit of a tough view sometimes. It was clear what Kola was doing, bit of a rum cnut, a good one though.

What choice did they have? Leicester smashed the door down and walked though it. Our club has been cast as the villain, and because our players are so talented the pundits love us losing so they can bring out all the old cliches.

Also better to say how great Leicester are than to say how embarrassing the top clubs were last season.

I get the impression there is some bad blood between City and the BBC at the moment. Great to see.
