Match of the Day - 2016/17

Even by MOTD standards that was genuinely fucking incredible. 45 minutes of utter domination, with 82% possession and umpteen fucking chances, reduced to the goal and a free kick, and, er that's it. They then show Sterling's laughable yellow card for allegedly diving for a penalty that he didn't even appeal for, and a foul by Ya Ya, and chuck in a non-descript Swansea header from a corner, before inviting Paul Clement to rant and whine about a soft free kick given for a foul against Kolarov, that Clichy then took from 5 yards further back (yep, that's right, back not forward) than he should have and which ultimately led to our winner. Then enter Steptoe and Jenas to back Clement's ridiculous claim, whilst not giving any air time to Fer being clearly offside for Swansea's goal, and Dolly Daydream to tell us the atmosphere was crap! Probably the most unrepresentative edit of a game I've ever seen. What a set of unbelievable cnuts

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought it was perfectly legal to take free kicks and throw ins from a position further back.. obviously not further forward?. If its not we wouldn't have won the league in 2012 as in the build up to the goal Joe Hart took a throw in about 30 yards further back than where it went out of play

I didn't hear clement moaning about Olson taking every throw in ten yards from where they should have been...

This.

Dean told him twice. Kept doing it, but rather than book him, decided to just ignore it.

Pre December it was ...city rely solely on aguero goals, he can't play all the games.

Post January it is why is aguero not starting.

Then put some stats to suit the agenda. Watching motd just reminds me, you can't beat watching the game in person without reliance on what they want to show.

Neville dafter than his brother and a rag puppet-Jenas absolute clown if he knows so much why isnt he manager of a lower league team

Clement was full of cr@p
It was a foul and the free kick was taken from further back so he should of been happy about that,he didn't have to talk about his own teams illegal goal

This from the man (Clements not you) whose team took every single throw in from 10-15 yards further up the pitch than they should have.

I endorse "Ballet-on-ice"'s sentiments on this one.

Be happy in the thought that every time we win, the wankers feel a twisting in their stomachs. The rags are in do do if they end up out of the Champions league again.

Absolutely disgraceful and no I'm certainly not surprised by this constant crap but that doesn't make me any less angry. It's hateful and infuriating and I pay my fucking licence fee so I'm entitled to my share of unbiased coverage of football. How anyone can say there's no agenda is beyond me!!
