Match of the Day - 2016/17

Taken from the full article on the BBC website:

The statistics we showed on MOTD2 would suggest that is the case, based on the past couple of seasons.

But as I explained on the show, those percentages in the table above do not reflect who they were playing.

For example, in 2015-16, City played nine Premier League games without Aguero. They won five of them, and lost only two.

But four of those five wins came against teams who were 16th or lower, and they were games City were expected to win anyway.

I think that's what pissed me off the most.

We got a win. Played decent and potentially the next world superstar scored twice and those fuckers just wanted to find a stick to beat us with.

Other clubs would have been lauded and given the old 'champions mentality' schtick.

Not surprising at all, pretty standard affair for when both we and the rags win, almost as if maximising their sixth place greatness (read: mediocrity) by minimising our accomplishments.

Old Trafford is a fucking library, but no, "eerily quiet" in the Etihad. All over them in an unmitigated onslaught for the first half, better not show that and focus on attempting to corroborate the ridiculous sour grapes of Clement. 70% possession for City overall, let's ignore that and isolate the less polarising figure from the second half. Mike Dean handing out cards to City like it's Christmas while offering no protection when Swansea players repeatedly offend, let's selectively show footage to lead you to think the ref favoured City.

This doesn't happen for other clubs.

"What Agenda?" They cry...
The insidious manipulation of facts, out right lies, and favouritism, right there on the BBC, the bastion of British TV, circling the drain of fake news, absolutely disgusting.
Eerily quiet? I know I was only listening to the radio commentary, but it sounded pretty good to me, just as others who were actually at the game have described.
And the quote from Aguero, taken out of context, then the stats, thankfully Jenas was was wise to it, already been alerted to the bullshit Agenda from the "Utd best squad to challenge Chelsea" comment, if they are, why aren't they Phil? someone needs to pull him up on that next time he's enjoying our hospitality, or watching our EDS ( and all other age groups) thrashing his beloved UTD, great strength in depth Phil.
Why is Neville on, ever? He's a piss poor pundit, must be cheap, or good at following orders.

Let's remember that in a crap profession that hates us with a passion Gabby Logan always takes that hatred to a new level.
The fact that she is any where near a microphone based on that bias is bad enough but she is also a bloody awful presenter
