Match of the Day - 2016/17

Can anyone tell me why the Yaya foul/booking was shown ?
I stupidly assumed they were going to analyse how unfair it was companred to the foul on Silva shown minutes later that resulted in no card being given. Nope not a mention, nothing, zip, fuck all. So why show it ?
Why no re run of the Sterling booking ? It is a joke of a programme so I am going to do what my lad has said for months............ not bother watching the biased load of shite.
But Yaya wasn't booked. Not then and not throughout the rest of the game.

There are few 'journalists' writing for newspapers these days - they are cynical hacks who measure the quality of an article by whether it fits the space allocated to it!

And Sky, The Nation's Favourite Broadcaster, and BT all attempt to show the conclusion and their prepared agenda for football by showing 'statistics' that would make a statistician roll around the floor laughing. The best 'statistic' I heard was that Wigan hadn't beaten United since Noah was a lad and duly beat them at The Swamp 1-0 for us to draw level and eventually win the title. There whole array of 'statistics' has no real statistical basis to it - from start to finish. The 'stats' are titbits for the armchair fan who thinks that the 'trend' shown will continue. I bet the bookies are laughing at the money placed on the basis of the RagDipperArseHaringeyMeedya's 'statistics'!
It was in Wigan, not at the swamp.

Having just watched on the City OS the extended highlights its quite obvious that the Beeb do have an agenda against us.Plenty of goalmouth incidents from that first half that could and should have been shown, but alas only the goal,Yayas free kick and Sterlings non penalty.Disgraceful from you BBC.

Let's remember that in a crap profession that hates us with a passion Gabby Logan always takes that hatred to a new level.
The fact that she is any where near a microphone based on that bias is bad enough but she is also a bloody awful presenter

But lets remember, she has a lovely pair of tits, and before you start, I mean Jenas and Chuckle 2

In my opinion they showed the Toure foul and no booking so that when Silva was through and brought down nobody would say why wasn't he given a yellow card as Toure had gotten away with one. I can think of no other reason for showing it

Even Mata said he was worried it would be red. If the player himself says it then is usually means it was a red.

I thought that was commendably honest of him, really.

It looked exactly like Fernandinho's last sending off in terms of contact, just with added speed.

Just watched the game, recorded, did we play them twice today cause I saw us totally dominate with lovely football the first 45 minutes or 20seconds if you are MOTD
Ah well in the immortal words, drink it in, we are getting better and better no matter how hard they try we won.
Maybe the next trick will be to actually not show our goals and make it look like we lost, wouldn't put it passed them but we will still win.

There is an element of the Utd match in the league where a lot of the first half was great stuff but not very highlight-friendly. In that match though, they didn't hide admiration of how well City played.

The show last night needed Chapman to pull the party-line stuff up when Neville started rambling/ranting.

You've also got to factor in who the refs were in the two matches where similar tackles were made.
In the red corner: Anthony (I'm an Alty fan, honest) Taylor
In the blue corner: Lee (I'm a Notlob fan, honest) Mason.
In one match, the ref couldn't wait to get his red card out, and in the other, the ref couldn't wait to get his yellow card out.

It's bent.
