One thing hasn’t changed in this new season……
Leeds still cannot defend. Who would buy any player from that team??

I thought more might have been made about the reception Bernardo got when he came on, it went on for ages all over the ground. The fuckers didn't even mention it.
That’s exactly why they are fuckers.
Now…..if it had been a Mexican wave………..

It's amazing how much Alan Shearer gets paid to give the same analysis every single week.

A short clip of a team either pressing or not pressing is shown.

If they're pressing he says the same thing every time, "they go in ones and twos" or "one goes, they all go."

If a team wins convincingly (usually City) then it's down to the opposition making it too easy for them by not pressing.

Rinse and repeat.

I suppose it's better than hearing Gary Neville moan about the Glazers for the millionth time though.

You have to hand it to the rags - post GPC they have broken record after record - now the have broken their Not Losing to Brentford record.....
Pearce was discussing records on how poor their season start was from the off, when it was still 0-0 and still 1-0; a clear case of his commentary being added afterwards once they’ve edited the highlights. The broadcasters deny they do this, but it’s fairly obvious on MOTD.

As another poster mentioned earlier, all he’s doing there is whipping up/inciting another fan protest for next Monday night & will end up with his employer having to ask him to fill in for 2 hours about why it’s a “legitimate protest” to get a game cancelled.
Personally, if the Premier League get wind of such actions over the next week, they should insist the game goes ahead but behind closed doors ;-)
