First time I've seen the offside since leaving the stadium (haaland header) , technically off but as the offside rule was brought in to prevent goal hanging its so harsh on forwards to disallow goals for being a toe in front of the defence.
All offsides are technically on or offside.

Haaland was offside.

I genuinely believe the rule should be day light between attacker and defender as that would provide a clear advantage as it stands goals are being disallowed for no clear advantage, but you are correct current rules stayed he is offside

Whatever margin you choose, there will always be marginal calls.

More goals were given by VAR in the PL last season that had been ruled out on field than the other way around.

Surprisingly good analysis on MoTD tonight, highlighting our formational flexibility and even labelling it 'total football'!
If we could play like that with 11 each week, we’d win every single game we played.

KDB was supreme today, but Bernardo was a man possessed. Right winger cum sweeper quarterback. He was the main reason we controlled the whole second half.

The red card was the equivalent of poking a hornet's nest with a stick. It really fired us up.

Looks like Forest got more shafted than us today.

Marriner had a mare there. 3 wrong penalty calls in the same match, all against Forest.

In the Forest game how can they give a penalty to Brentford after turning down 2 Forest claims where there was more contact, baffling

None of them were penalties.
If they weren’t, was the foul on KdB a penalty?
Not saying they were all penalties. Just compare the incidents.

It’s constant inconsistency with referees and VARs. And because the latter keeps showing inconsistency every other week, I’d keep saying get rid. I can’t at some point accept a refs decision if it turns out to be wrong. A VAR making a very debatable decision for me is totally unacceptable.

There were more "highlights" of the match in the Jenas analysis than in the actual match highlights beforehand. That move that Phil couldn't quite get on the end of near the end was special.
Also don't recall them showing Kevs strike in the 1st half where the keeper made a great save, but then showed a counter attack from Fulham which resulted in the winger firing the shot 10 yards wide (and he was offside!)
