Anderson was faking “injury” in an attempt to get Haaland in trouble. Hell, he even had to point to the spot on his head gir the Physio, who was looking at his head thinking “You soft bastard, you’re making yourself look like a right twat!”

One was a studs up, head on challenge against an on-rushing keeper. The other was a player reaching for a ball as another player COMES FROM BEHIND HIM to head the ball!

About the ONLY similarity from a footballing perspective are that a boot, a head and a ball were all included in the event!

That was not a swinging arm,it was an intentional and dangerous movement.It should have been at least a yellow card.

the state of this, Guy Mowbrie or whatever said that Cancelo is insinuating the foul, then we saw the replay and Ayew hitting Cancelo's face with his elbow, and the commentator said nothing lol

Mane was facing Ederson, could see everything in front of him and still challenged with both feet off the ground which led to Ederson being injured & substituted. Haaland was trying to bring the ball down with one foot whilst the other was anchored on the pitch whilst looking away from Anderson who came from behind trying to head the ball away.

You can tell the difference even from the stills cited as 'evidence'. You'd have to know little to nothing about football as a physical game and treat it more like some cult like experience to equate these incidents. Oh hang on...

So MoD highlight the Ederson and Haaland "incidents" as both controversially going in City's favour whereas they chose to ignore the forearm smash into Cancelo's face ( which led to the second goal ) But why no comment about CP's first goal ? The ball comes in from the free kick and it appears to be deflected onto Stones's knee off the CP forward's hand and so on into the net . All the City defenders claim a "handball" but evidently VAR sees no need to investigate. The commentator says it deflected off Walker's elbow. Looking at it many times in slow-mo , I'd certainly vote for the CP's player hand ( the City defenders certainly thought so )

And following the novel interpretation of offside for St Marcus's goal against the Dippers it was equally bizarre how the experts interpreted McTominay playing "keepy-uppy" of the ball with his arms , in the Southampton game, as not being a penalty. I rather think we'll see a lot of VAR and PIGMOL keeping the Rags relevant this season !
