What's the plan in attack? We get the ball, we slow it, allow them to get everybody behind the ball first then we go side to side ignoring opportunities for the winger to isolate their marker, ignoring good chances to get a cross in and then eventually if we don't give the ball away which is how 80% of our attacks end, we either slowly go all the way back or we put in a diagonal from a sub-optimal angle and lose it. In defence we've been okay for the main if you ignore the errors, it's our attacking display which is piss poor.

That savinho effort is the only chance we've had in open play. Give the ball to Savinho and let him run at timber ffs, he's on a yellow card and is rash in the tackle, he's a walking red, Why aren't we targetting him constantly?

Pep is not getting the best out of the team, our attackers are far better than Arsenal's, and we should go long like we did against Chelsea. Once again early goal conceded and we are chasing the game

Ortega isn't capable of those quality of passes, very few are. It works with Eddie because he creates his own time and space. He can either go short, or long with equal control and accuracy.

You could have Pele, Prime Figo and Erling up top and they would not have a sniff with the way we played that half. Marmoush made about 4 runs needing the ball passed early but Kovacic didn't play it and went instead to Akanji who went back to John who went back to the keeper. Akanji is officially broken.

We play so slowly and it must be so frustrating for whoever plays up front when they see Nunes get into great positions and refuse to put the cross in. 68% possession whilst having a striker have 3 touches in 45 is a stunning statistic of how we are so toothless. Omar wasted in the hole he looks a bit lost.

Play quicker, get Kev on to at least try to pass forward and these are for the taking.

Positives : only one - Omar can take a great corner.

I just want us to win because then we can tell Gabriel how much of a wanker he is.

Conceding such a ridiculous goal again… Absolutely embarrassing. Once again, we're forced to chase the game, even though this clueless Arsenal has no business being in it. And of course, their damn keeper is saving everything. We desperately need to bring in some quality players tomorrow if possible. The real issue is the lack of creativity in midfield. We used to dominate because we had the best midfield - nobody lost the ball, and they could ping passes anywhere even with their eyes closed.

I love his tactical analysis when even by his own admission he had no idea how to set a team up or formulate strategy. If I could find an alternative commentary I would, I’ve even watched in silence but it’s too depressing
here’s an idea put it on mute and listen to music ?
