There are actually plenty of really decent cafes/ coffee shops in Manchester. Maybe Mrs Gundo just didn't like the weather ? which to be honest we probably don't even notice most of the time! Agree though that it certainly sounds like we could do with him out there today though!

Reckon Kovacic will score a banger....
WE look lost without him, He is our side.He looks lost without Rodri - that's what's changed. Madness if Pep doesn't sub him - especially as he's not having a good game

Started off well, did what we needed to do to silence the crowd and should have scored with Ake, you cannot miss that. After about 20 minutes, they got to grips with the game and whilst we've still been in relative control, we dont look like creating anything at all, can't get beyond their first line of press whereas it seems a lot easier for them to get into a position to go at our defence.
I'd be astounded is kovacic comes out for the second half. Has to be subbed for Nunes or phillips otherwise hes a guaranteed red. I classify that potential second yellow exactly the same as hwang last week. I said last week. It's a yellow 8 maybe 9 times out of 10. I can accept not giving it so long as the rest of the game is reffed to that standard. Kovacic has been poor besides the potential sending off anyway.
Bernardo got himself a stupidly cheap yellow too, in these games you only take yellows early if you have to, you don't get one for a challenge 10 yards outside their box. They'll come a point in the game where Bernardo needs to take a yellow and now he either cannot do so or he's sent off. Poor decision making.
I want to see us go a bit more direct, use haaland down thr sides more it's an easy out and can get us up the pitch. Doku can make a huge impact in this game, expect him to come on with 20 minutes left if it's still level, earlier if we need a goal, grealish instead if we get ourselves ahead.
Expect them to be better second half, we need to up it 2 or 3 gears, 3 points are there for the taking if we turn it on.
