Hopefully see Doku on second half.

Hopefully take Kovatic off, apart from his two stupid, needless challenges, he's not really been great anyway.

Were scared, but growing onto it
 
really angry at Kovacic, like he wants to get a red. wasnt picked for our toughest CL away game, had a full week off, and then almost gets a red. feels like we need to change him HT otherwise we can be down to 10 in 55th minute after his next way off tackle.

not sure Pep got this line up well, no wing presence, Gvardiol asked to fill in at left but we are aint making it count of some hoped advantage in the middle with Alvarez, Foden, Rico, Kovacic, Bernardo none of them plays well while Haaland got very little action.

we started better but faded heavily.

we do miss Rodri and KDb of course but lucky that Martinelli and Saka are off.
 
Poor half from both teams.

Arsenal looked scared to death to start the game but we just played a safe game, didn’t expose Zincehnko at all, didn’t look threatening at all, started giving stupid balls away which perked Arsenal up (Dias numerous times), then Kovačić took over.

Arsenal were there for the taking from the off and now they’ve grown into the game, but have still been poor themselves.

Neither team have created owt.

Can’t believe Kovačić actually went in for that second challenge. Even the first, we never do stuff like that, and he should have been sent off for that alone, but the second…

They were for the first 25 then realized we have nothing
 
Awful, panicked football from us today. Haaland not doing enough again, midfield woeful. Kovacic very very lucky, I'd be fuming if I was an Arse fan right now tbh. Honestly not sure how we approach the second half, don't think we can win it, so just get out of there without any sending offs and a draw.

There was a passage after about 10 mins where Ederson had the ball and instead of looking to get a move going quickly he delayed it and gave Walker and Dias a shitshow to deal with. Not been right since that moment.
 
Started off well, controlling the ball but the last 15 minutes....not as good. Pep needed to sub off Kova pronto, been poor as well as extremely foolish with his tackling.
No control in midfield at all latter part of the 1st half. We have let them get right back into this match, the crowd is getting up and we need to be careful.
Formation not really working too well so far.
