I never usually say this but I would take a draw.. and take it back to ours when ‘hopefully’ are players are in better form.

We might no be like the swashbuckling City of old.

Yet still these bent bastards have to rob us

If you think that was just a hit and hope shot then maybe football isn't a game you should be watching..
Brilliant finish. FFS even the pundits agree
For fucks sake take the point. It was an unreal goal, but the whole point of my comment is that the goal doesn't mean we have played well.

Also, he takes it first time on his left peg...of course there is an element of hit and hope.

The question isn't: 'Was it a penalty?'; the question is: 'Which teams do not get that given against them?', and we all know the answer to that question.
I think the question is, how many times has a referee give a penalty like that this season. Andy Townsend’s recognised its not often, he’s calling it ‘brave‘. It’s not, it’s out of step with the rest of the season.

Someone with more time on their hands on than me please rewatch games against Everton, Southampton, Bournemouth etc and compare the time wasted per gk in the 1st 35 mins with Ederson tonight

Too passive too ponderous.

This season except against poor teams we seem incapable of stamping our authority on games. Our game is solely based on possession.

I would take a draw.

I’m hoping to see some of our normal cut throat, feee flowing, seamless passing and attacking this half. We never seem to have any shots on target in recent any games! Come on City!

The only surprise with the penalty for me is that Taylor didnt snatch the ball from Saka.

Think its about time we had some sort of video assistance to help refs come to a right decision

For those of you who think it’s a penalty show me another example of when a penalty has been given for a similar challenge?
Exactly. You can talk about contact, and follow-through, as much as you like. You can argue that “anywhere else on the pitch, it’s a foul”. Doesn’t matter. The norm is simple: those incidents involving keepers are never called as penalties.
