Not awful... Except Yaya... I don't know what to think with him.

Same here. He's had so many opportunities to shoot or go forward this half and he's just looked to play it square or backwards. Last season he would take a shot as soon as he got half a chance. He just doesn't look with it at all.

yep. he had a shot lined up in space to curl at his favorite spot and passed instead. blew my mind.

2012/13 season all over again. Complacency, no urgency or desire. Can't believe we've let that creep in again.

Very encouraging first half, we only lacked a little luck and more haste to arm and shoot at the target.
Actually, Vila's defense has been pretty impressive, closing on Dzeko and Aguerro each time they were in the money zone and preventing any easy attempt at their goal.
Yaya : i am one of his biggest and most faithful fan, but even so, i can't explain how the hell he still looks stuck in second gear since the start of the season. Seems he just physically can't clutch into his former dominant and threatening self.

Too many twisted knickers in this thread. It's half time.

Par for these threads innit ? I can't believe we won the league last season, with all these SHIT players we have.
This is not aimed at you, but some people on here want to look up the word support, in the dictionary.

And all you talking about bringing Lampard on, I say get Fernando on stabilise that midfield then bring on Navas and Jovetic for there attacking ability. Milner and Dzeko off.

We're no way near our best but comfortably in control, says a lot about Villa.
Think it says more about us to be honest, comfortably on top and the villa keeper has had nothing to do
