I don’t think Kovacic can give more than 30 minutes and Nunes none. Phillips and Gomez are persona non grata but that does beg questions about what purpose the academy serves on nights like these. Lewis is already a first-team squad player but is there really nobody else?

Just seen replay of Haaland header. He actually did very well to get back onside and put a good header on target. Pity he didn’t head back across goal though.

That was an interesting first half, been second best all over the pitch and are extremely lucky to go in level.

If back up players like Nunes and Philips are not going to get a game when KDB and Rodri are missing, with Pep favouring a CB and a RB, you really have to question whoever sanctioned their signings.

Just back from injuries but why not give Phillips his chance ?
We are being overrun in midfield and I've never seen us give the ball away so much.
Think Phillips is far too slow in both mind and body to get even a minute of action. It would be worse with him, as hard as that is to imagine.

Walker terrible looks more likely to assist them for a goal than us silva forgot he was playing not involved and akanji looks half arsed in tackles and passes
