Pleeeease just put Kovacic in there. The back line desperately needs help, not just defensively but in terms of finding a pass out into midfield. Akanji and Stones aren't picking up the slack at all so far.

Kovacic was very good at the start of the season. What happened afterwards?

He got injured - which was always the biggest concern in relying on him for 30+ league games.
