what a poor half from City and Pep. tactically we are second best here, struggle to even do a few proper counters. we dont like parked buses bit high tempo team with high line what Villa does now is much worse.

zero control from City here, struggle to do few passes in a row.

Stones and Lewis are realky struggling against the speed of the Villa press and Alvarez is having a shocker. the trouble is I dont think we have the players on the bench to improve things.

tbh we’ve done well to get to half time without conceding.va needs to be next to Stones and id honestly put Phillips in there as well. Foden has to do more and Rico and Alvarez have to remember how to pass to feet

We look so light in midfield and lack composure and are being forced into mistakes.

Lost for words with that performance, we look completely lost, clueless and with no ideas what so ever

Can we all just agree that Foden is never going to be the player that we all hoped? He should be taking the opportunity to take the game by the scruff of the neck, but he just waits for things to happen.

Said it countless times, Rico Lewis is simply not good enough to play at this level. I know he's young, but unless he's playing a 5 yard pass, he literally brings nothing else other than chasing the ball around like a kid.

Happily take a point right now, and a win is likely to come from a smash and grab.
