Stones and Lewis are realky struggling against the speed of the Villa press and Alvarez is having a shocker. the trouble is I dont think we have the players on the bench to improve things.

tbh we’ve done well to get to half time without conceding.

I can't wrap my head around Pep keep persisting with this set-up without Stones, Rodri and the get out of jail card Kev(all together). When did we last beat a good team away?

Absolute utter fucking garbage.
Every one of them wank.
Got to get a midfield on the pitch.
Game passing Lewis by, Alverez playing in slow motion and Akanji a walking disaster.,

Lucky.
We’re so easy to play against at the moment. Loads of players high up the pitch, but not actually pressing effectively. And huge spaces all over the place behind them.
The lack of pressing from the front also makes us susceptible to the long straight ball over the top.

It'd be nice to smash and grab this but it's only going one way in my opinion.

Losing De Bruyne and Gundogan has destroyed our midfield.
It hasn't. Losing De Bruyne and Gundogan and Rodri and Grealish and Nunes and Kovacic being injured have destroyed our midfield. Truly unique circumstances at the moment.

Walker has been awful. Get Ake and Kova on, move Akanji out wide right, and let Kova sit with Stones. Maybe even Nunes for Alvarez because we need him on the pitch if he is going to show something and this clearly isn't working

Foden in left
Bernie in middle
Alvarez on left or off pitch

and we needed another central midfielder all last season anyway
Then the two we bought haven’t done owt either
