Foden got twice as many assists in half as many games from the right compared to central last season. Get him on the right where he’s far better as an all around team player, stretch their defence a bit.

The only bit of good play in and around the box we’ve had was when Foden and Lewis played those 1-2s on the right.

Phil told all that he wanted to be the successor to Kev and play centrally in the pocket but he's not that good. A strong coaching team tells him to play in the system that gets the best from him - zero goals from 26 attempts playing centrally tells you all you need to know. Phil is a top, top player but not in the same class as prime Kev.
