Well that was fun. So much so that I muted it and stuck a YouTube video on. We've been having quite a few games like this lately, where the best thing we can find to say after the game is "Oh well, job done". We don't look a patch on the City we can be.

We had a pretty decent one and he sold him, I know he was initially a midfielder but did a good job at fullback

Dire watch that.

There is absolutely no pace or creativity in this team. We make lots of pretty patterns but go nowhere. The wide men have seen plenty of ball but seemingly have no intention of trying to beat a full back. We basically have 9 outfield players that only ever want to pass sideways or backwards and a striker who never sees the ball.

It’s hard to see watching this how we score. It feels like we are playing for a 0-0 but has Dortmund scoring written all over it.

We have a game like this every now and then and it always seems to happen in the Champions League. Just sloppy and blunt all over the pitch.

Hopefully Haaland can pull something out the bag as he’s the anomaly from past performances like this

I feel like he's struggling to shape the team around Haaland, despite the stupid number of goals he's scored.

Somebody let Cancelo know he's not

Pretty poor again.
Shape looks awkward, not creating anything.
I’d get Grealish on for Mahrez. Foden over to the right. And probably switch Cancelo to the right and move Ake to left back.

If you're going to keep playing Alvarez and Haaland then you should take Mahrez out and send Alvarez to the right flank, neither Haaland nor Alvarez had any scoring chances, we even saw Alvarez too far away from the area many times. It's all too sloppy, and to top it all the defense has been awful too, specially Cancelo.
