For me it's the gamesmanship I find most annoying with Barcelona.
Now the past 3 times we've played them, we've pretty much had half a team on yellow each game, and in all but this one (so far) we've had a player sent off.
Don't get me wrong, the pressing style of play they play is great to watch (normally as a neutral - not today). But when we do it, the players go to ground almost instantly, and rather than getting told to get the fuck up, there rewarded with a free-kick, so continue to do it.
Suarez dived in that half about 5/6 times, won a free kick in maybe 4? If he'll continually get away with it he'll continue to do it. Yet when our players go to ground easy (see Sagna up near the throw in line) it's just brushed off and ignored by the officials.
I'm sure we're not going to leave with 11 men on the pitch again today, and yet again it's made to look like we're a dirty team, when we're faaaaar from one. I mean out of those yellows we've had so far, Kolorovs was stupid but probably a yellow yes and Nasri's most certainly was as it was stupid. But we've got 4 players booked from 6 fouls.
On their goal they broke past Silva (on a yellow already so could do nothing), Ferny (on a yellow so again could do nothing) and Kolorov (again on a yellow so could do nothing). It's no suprise they go all out with the diving and in my mind, cheating from the off, get the players booked so they can't go in for challenges. If any one of those three tried to take the barca player out on the break he'd have been off, you saw how they'll swarm the ref when they can to get a decision to help them (like they need any fucking help).
In truth that's what's annoying me most.
