Leroy looking good
Phillips would be far too slow against this quick Bayern midfield kovacic quick feet more suited.

Phillips really is the elephant in the room at this point.

Personally think Pep and the club would sell him tomorrow if he was willing to leave.

Frustrating, as I think West Ham would have him in a heart beat and that would be a much better move for him at this stage of his career, rather than getting token minutes at City when it's pretty clear as day it's unlikely to work for him here.

Fully expect Rodri, Rico, Kovacic, Stones - maybe even Perrone as the season progresses - to get a look in ahead of him and it's just a waste for all involved.
Whilst Phillips has a contract here and that means of course we can't just sell him without him having an input. If Pep wanted him gone and told him as much, I don't think Kalvin would stay.

He doesn't appear to be the type to have an attitude problem or be an issue. I genuinely believe the club just aren't too fussed on bringing in anyone else and Pep is fine for him to be here.

Decent run out so far. Bayern are a very good side.

Kovacic looking neat and tidy.

Rico has been very good.

Our front 3 haven’t done much at all.

Goal aside, really unimpressed with what Mcatee has offered so far. He has caused us more problems defensively than he has Bayern.

Why some wouldn’t want Sane back is baffling. He is so dynamic in comparison to our wide options.
