What was the Matchday thread like under Pearce?

First 15mins we were playing with purpose slick passing moving of the ball making chances! Then it stopped we got impatient that's when Blackburn woke up and started running closing down hustling us we stopped playing!

Draw is a fair result at halftime with neither keepers having much to do.

Good to see Johno switched to the left to have a go on his natural side.

We just need to get Silva on the ball like we did in the first 10-15 mins and i would like to see the Yaya train leave the station more often.

Confident we can still get something out of this game......................

Johnson was very crucial both early and late to the sustained pressure. Really like the move to switch his flank since we had so much space on Kolarov's side and Kolarov just doesn't know what to do with it, but then we lost a lot of the triangles that were getting us up the pitch in the first place.

Barry is probably the sub, for Milner or Dzeko depending on when Mancini makes the move. Yaya and Silva both tired a bit through that half, but blackburn definitely started closing better on the ball, which always causes us trouble.

You could also bring on Dzeko or SWP - take off Barry, put Yaya central and move Silva to the top of the triangle, a la Sunderland.

Really good first half display from the boys, you can see how far we have come under bobby. We will make the champions league playing like this.

quicker 1 touch passing, movement and close the 30/40 yard gaps between striker/midfield and defence so we can play triangles and as a team, stop the silly chip passing and speed the ball movement up to the front quicker.

terrific first 20, then we just slowed right down. should be a couple up, hopefully this half will put it in the net, if we score early this half we'll tan em, but its City so will make it hard work i suspect. Barry off, Dzeko on i hope.

If Dzeko comes on, AJ will be the one pullled. I expect Milner to replace Barry if needed. Barry has had 2 clangers in this game, but he has been up for the game otherwise.
