This.

This has the potential to tear Blackburn a new one.
Keyword being "potential"
Play at 100% and its not a problem. 0-2.
Lack in any way at all and it becomes tough, they are no mugs.

I feel a 2-0 win for Blackburn coming here. Roberto should stick with the same team, as history has shown that if you change a winning team, it causes problems more often than not. But he'll go with this:

Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov, Milner, Yaya Touré, De Jong, Silva, Dzeko, Wright-Phillips.

Wright-Phillips and Dzeko will be the players that let us down upfront, and Silva won't know what to do, as a player devoid of skill stands in front of him wanting the ball at his head (Dzeko). Silva - a player who enjoys patient football on the floor - will see Dzeko, play it into his feet, and the attack will break down.

The occasion isn't what it was last week at Wembley, and the players will struggle to find motivation where we got it last week. Let's be honest, we won that game at Wembley because we got a confidence boost as Mancini pushed the team forward. From then on in, it was only going to be ours. But against Blackburn - a team that haven't won a game in 2011 - I fear complacency will coincide with a bad turn of fortune. But here's hoping the total opposite happens.

Blackburn 2-0 Manchester City.

Do you ever watch us? You're leaving De Jong on the bench, and you're starting Tevez even though he's been ruled out for a month.

Sorry mate, but you've just left out Balotelli and AJ in your team, and replaced them with Dzecko and SWP, the latter has started all of what, 2 league games all season!? why hat makes you think Mancini would do that? and what makes you think he'd leave out his favourite player Balotelli? pretty stupid really, so you're not much better than the guy you've just slated.

A small point, but does anyone know what kit we'll be wearing tonight...?

Seems to me that all our shirts clash with theirs in some way.

bob please feel free to pm me for some tactical advice. we HAVE to win this game, this is not september or october, you have fuck all time to put it right.

its blackburn, look again, blackburn, go for the win ffs.

I suspect team will be whether Blackburn still play hoof ball the BFS way or whether they play it to feet. I haven't seen a lot of them since caretaker manager in charge but they ground out a draw at the gooners so it will be tough. This and the West Ham games are probably the most important games we have to play this season, if we win both we can destroy Spuds hopes of top four before we play them. We should win this and team selection and tactics are going to be important. If hoofball is on the menu last season we played just two midfield players no need for NDJ because midfield gets by passed if it is on the deck we need NDJ. No doubt the experts on here will put me right.

Come on city attack from the off and get a nice early goal to save my nails, i bit a nerve last time out and it throbbed for a week

Hoping for a Dzeko goal if he plays. He really needs it for his confidence.
