This same bournemouth got ripped apart by Arsenal on Wednesday 5-1 at Emirates. Today they defend well like there is no tomorrow.

Too many useless high crosses, passing inside the box was very hard given how deep they defend 5 defenders, 4 defensive midfielders basically. Lot of bad passes around their box, underhit, overhit passes, D. Silva especially.

More long shots.

Mahrez crosses usually bit more tricky than a simple high cross but half of the time his crosses cannot even beat the defenders front of him.

Vs WHU we needed a bit lucky penalty to break the ice we need something similar here as well. Dropping points today would be a huge mistake. But we hardly had a player in the box with the ball so far.

Mahrez and Raza should shoot from outside box more often against these bus parkers. Mahrez got some strong left footer .

Sterling did let a couple go but they missed the target. We had a lot of blocked shots I thought.

This is actually the type of game where I'd take Mahrez over Sane. Need someone to get a one off goal and he has the ability. Bournemouth are playing so deep, it's hard for Sterling already to get a load of opportunities behind the fullback.
