It’s clear that Walker Akanji, Ake and maybe Gvardiol are not fully fit. Bournemouth have done well but it’s no surprise we are struggling today.

Will this be a blip or something more? Sadly we are a team built around the current captains demise. Walker was immense until the new contract was given - he held the club to ransom as he said he would walk unless he got a longer deal. He should not be in the team, never mind club captain. Also who would have thought Phil, Gundo and Bernardo would lose form and look very average all at the same time.

Problem is if you keep saying "we are tired and injured" odds are you get tired and injured. Better to say let's show them we can do it.

Write this game off and reset - fortunately other teams are not pulling away while we fight our way out of this short term funk.

We've been blessed with a decade of amazing moments and hopefully this will result in some major movement in the Jan market - the one we usually try to avoid to go again.
