Savio’s absence has made me realise that he keeps the left hand side of the opponents quiet somewhat.

Bernie and Foden are different types of players. They are not going to immediately ghost past a player. Hence, no fear of leaving space in my mind of the FB. They’re not drawn out to the wing therefore leaving space in the middle.

The lack of wingers is a big issues but one more half left. Can only have faith they can dig deep. I’m assume some of the players are playing through pain at the moment.

He chested the down and swivelled for a shot, and then was blocked off (obstructed?) by their defender. Looked like an impact injury to his knee as the defender went to clear the ball.
