There are some real mugs on this forum. I'd love to play football against them, or maybe poker. It's a group think. The meta-narrative is driven by persecution, bad decision after bad decision over the last week. The only one that was really obviously strange was Liverpool getting a free kick for nothing last week.

Everything else is well within the scope of a very reasonable opinion, based on the exact law, of more than one person's clear and unimpeded view of the vent. There is room for debate. But not much. The decisions really aren't very controversial at all.

But once people get it in their head they've been done wrong once, they desperately expect the next one to go their way.
