Foden been excellent.

I don't think Lewis will make it with us as a defender.

Gundo at fault for their goal, letting people run off the back of him and not being able to get back.

Same happened against Madrid.

Haaland has been snatching at stuff recently, should have had a couple himself?

Brighton press is very good, but Ortega done very well to play out of it most of the time.
And no Rodri midfield, we need to wrap him up in cotton wool...

Going off Sky’s commentary I’m wondering do we need to hand over the trophy tonight or tomorrow? ; )

Tad premature about Rico mate surely ?
Well he can’t defend. I think he’s saying he’s a midfielder not a defender and he’s right. In games where we don’t get put under any pressure he can invert from defence, no problem. But against teams that can attack us over and over in good form, he looks a long way short of being defensively strong enough. But that’s ok, he isn’t a defender.

It’s still annoying how this lot shit the bed v Scum in the semi.
Imagine this as an FA Cup final ?

Dead rubber, we are resting a lot of players, and Brighton are a good team. But that half was awful from us and if this is how we are going to play today I would rather just bring on Phillips, Palmer & Alvarez at half time. Or, preferably, step up and play good in the second half. Just hope we see something different because another half of that would bring nothing positive to the team.

It was a fantastic Brighton goal , but he could stay out there til Sunday and not be able to replicate it . But Sky think it's the goal of all goals and no goal after it will ever be good enough to be called a goal .
It'll be goal of the month and rightly so. Cracking goal.
