100% Garcia. No doubt. Although it was the commentator who gave it him. Clearly knows nothing. Must have Algerian grandparents or somethingAbsolute rubbish, probably should have been Garcia

I didn’t hear that! What wankers! Doesn’t surprise me though. Is that stat true " Man city looking to retain a trophy for the first time in their history"......sky trolling ?
Don't think we've retained one.what sky trolling or us retaining a trophy ?
What about The Cup For Cock-Ups?Don't think we've retained one.
Perennial winners 1894-2008.What about The Cup For Cock-Ups?
And they say we have no history! Pah.Perennial winners 1894-2008.
Just don't see any of the alternatives to Fernandinho (Gundogan/Delph/Danilho/Stones) as even coming close. De Bruyne could do it, if given time and willing to change, but we would still need someone to play his position further up the park.
It would be a waste, to put him there full time at this stage of his career.
Imo, the biggest weakness we have, when Fern is missing, is defensively. We have so many attacking players, we can cover a less talented footballer there, but our defence can't cover a hole there. Stones could easily improve his passing but surprisingly showed no ability to spot defensive runs. Gundogan is nothing attacking or defending from there , Danilo somewhere between the two, Delph never fit enough to learn it.
But Kev was really good covering, especially when you consider he will not want to get injured & the pitch was dodgy ; his potential for forward passing is limitless.
We will try to sign someone, but there is no guarantee the player who comes in, will work.
It might be that Kev, as extra backup is a get out of jail card in that case.
I would like to see Garcia given a shot at it too.
didnt even know VAR was in operation ?! why havent any key decisions been looked at
Aleix, Manu, or Eric? ;-)
Really must stop signing Garcias.
Could see de Bruyne dropping back there if he suffered another injury and couldn't get back to his marauding best, but you only really know if a player is up to it when we play against much superior opposition in a high stakes game. Maybe Guardiola used him there tonight to see how he feels in that position. If he uses him there again against Burnley, it could be that he's intending to use him there, when needed, in the second half of the campaign.
