No, from the age of 8 none of our academy players are allowed to have any defensive coaching whatsoever. If they even look at Kompany too much in training they get let go.

Ok now I'm convinced that our scouts just scout defenders who can pass the ball not on their defending ability, or their ability to read the game or their physique. None of these guys are gonna make it if this is how they defend.

I went last year, and sat in the home end, their support was a care in the community outing of old lags who probably only pay for youth games, its why I haven't bothered tonight.
