Match Thread; City v Liverpool

Obviously Mancini views Silva and NDJ as too important to risk injury against. Still a good team , still 4-4-2 which means we will be going at them . Lets hope we produce a similar performance as last week and hopefully we will see the best from Dzeko as he does like playing with another striker centrally . Let AJ run riot on the left against this young lad , he is bound to have some fortune off him. CTID

Barry in and no Silva.. well, we had a good run this season didn't we?

Oh my days.. :(

He must fear injury, it can't be the whole "rest them" angle as while United play Chelsea tomorrow with a largely full strength team, our lads will be sat in a hot spa enjoying the game.

Still some good forward options but whenever we've missed even one of Silva or De Jong this season we have looked... mediocre. Missing them both will be a challenge, but everyone is well rested so that might make a difference.

RISK?! We have a handful of games left, it's too late to be resting people and rotating them. This is bullshit!!!

What's peoples problem? Never heard of squad rotation? Jesus.

Sometimes I think the manager couldn't pick a team that would satisfy everyone.

That team has enough attacking talent to beat Liverpool without risking key players.

If necessary, they can always be brought on at half time.

My main worry was going defensive, we haven't done that and I think people are underestimating the side we have put out.

We could finally see Milner drift in the middle where he was excellent for Villa, too!

-- Mon Apr 11, 2011 7:11 pm --

That team has enough attacking talent to beat Liverpool without risking key players.

Wow, 4-4-2! Very strange, don't recall that this season. To be fair, this is the best team that suits 4-4-2, I'm very intrigued to see what this is going to play like.
