Yaya is shorter than that and I have absolutely no idea where you get the impression that he's physically strong. He seems to get tossed around quite a bit by much smaller players.

Great player, sure, but not even close to being one of the strongest in the league.

And these Liverpool fans rolling over before the match are pathetic. Even worse than some of the crap I read from City fans after certain games.

So much wrong with this post.
Dont see how. Just throwing my observation out there. Strenght wise Yaya is nowhere near the level of Richards or De Jong.

Also, good balance and strenght are two different things. AJ also has excellent balance but I wouldnt exactly bet on him in a deadlifting competition.

This is very hard to tell from a footie match but personally I thought Yakubu was the strongest player when he was still an Everton starter. Heskey also.

Yaya Toure can't be stopped when he's going, like a train. I have never seen, or at least can't remember an instance where a small player has muscled him out of it. Most premier league players are strong, you have to be to compete really.

You are so fu**ing stupid if you dont see that Yaya is strong and physical. He is known for his physical strenght for gods sake!!!!!

Just because Yakubu or Heskey are fat doesn't mean they are strong. But they are...but Yaya is definetly one of the strongest.

Line-up for Liverpool?

Re: Liverpool's pre-match thread

The scousers do gallows humour better than most. A mate on twitter was ranting about watching the premiership years from 2002 when they finished 2nd and how bad things were now.

Mad to think we were in the old 1st division that year and now were fancied strongly to win at Anfield? Amazing what a few hundred million can do eh

Re: Line-up for Liverpool?

I like that side.

Would Zaba still be fully match fit though? he probably has a personal training regime sorted but with all the travel and without a game for a few weeks plus the emotional stress he has been under - i cant see him starting.

Boyata.
