Paris style second half need methinks.

Palace have defended well to be fair. They have closed down Sterling, Sergio and Jesus very quickly giving them no time at all on the ball.

We need to move the ball much more quickly and start pulling thedefenders out of position.

I’m still confident we’ll win this.

Disjointed build up. Some seemingly lackadaisical play. Nonetheless, Fernandinho mopping up as usual. CBs doing well.

Yep couple really nice balls and some good backtracking and tackling at the end of the half.

As for the rest....pfffft. We have 2 strikers on the field and we can only carve out one shot on goal....that was offside!!!???!!

Getting our strikers to actually shoot is a bit of a problem at the moment.

Torres looks better than recent games. Fern playing fine, defence ok. Raz is in such poor form and spent the first quarter giving the ball away. Since then he has been ultra conservative in his play. I didn’t celebrate Gabby’s goal because he is so often offside. If Palace had the slightest interest, they could cause us big problems but, thankfully, they are on the beach already.
