Which one have they got wrong then? They said that the handball against Mahrez was harsh, that the penalty award was also harsh and that the red card was correct, which it was.

Playing ok and should be 2-0 up. Crazy rule to disallow a beauty - and here's me thinking that those who run the game want to make it more about entertainment. What do I know?

We all know the keeper is decent so that makes putting a pen at waist height baffling. At least it should end the Mahrez pen period - Haaland for me every single time. Riyad always scores pens when there is less pressure but has missed some really crucial ones down the years - he'd be ok as back up pen taker at best. Just need to keep moving the ball and we will win this.

I didn't understand the new deal, certainly when already in thirties?

We could have got decent money this summer and chucked it at someone else or kept Jesus and Zin for improved terms.

The deal means Mahrez is with us until the end of his career.

Think we were losing Sterling and Jesus - who both wanted to leave, having also sold Torres. Losing Mahrez on top of that would have had a big impact on the squad especially with not knowing how Alvarez or even Palmer will turn out long term. At the very least he’ll be a decent squad player for us which he seems happy to accept.

Both Sterling and Jesus wanted out despite playing more than Mahrez last season. Mahrez couldn’t wait to sign that deal. That told me everything i needed to know. Easy street.

Handball doesn’t need to be intentional for it to be a foul.

Yeah i know, I meant they thought Mahrez did it intentionally or was using his arms extending them making the body unnaturally bigger, which neither of those had happened.
