This is our ultimate control XI and I like it. Players like Doku, Nunes, Gvardiol, Alvarez etc all have their moments, but they also lose the ball a lot. This 11 tonight allows us to pin the opponent back for long periods as they know how to keep it. It’s just better, even allowing for the fact that it’s ‘only’ Copenhagen.
