It was a strange ball from Eddie because he could see two players. That’s what you get though, he takes chances because he has the ability to make those passes. Better this game than in a league game.

Total domination except for a few mins around the goal that we gave them. Very poor play from Ederson for that.

Otherwise I think we started really well. Looked a lot happier with this set-up. Some of the passing and movement was outstanding and we could have had one or two before KDB's excellent goal (needs to work on his heading though!). Shame about Grealish because he was looking very lively and playing well before the injury. We haven't really recaptured that early form since he went off. Anyway, a bit of luck and a great finish to put us ahead again and no less than we deserved.

It would be nice if we could start the 2nd half we way we started the first and if we do (and assuming no more howlers at the back), it should be a relatively comfortable win.

Grealish going off changed the game. We absolutely battered them before that.

Brilliant to get a goal before half time
