We're absolutely dominating proceedings. Kept Leicester pinned back and cut out effectively all of their attacks.

Leicester looked tired as time went by.

We've struggled to create chances, but in theory as time goes on Leicester will become easier and easier to open up.

Only replying as you went to the trouble of explaining your opinion which I respect but he knew where it was going, Aguero being where he was wasn’t a factor in him getting beat from 30 yards.
I'm never listening to City fans again. Ever. He can't see the shot cos Aguero's fat arse has just taken up the whole of his view as Fern hits it. Schmeical visibly sort of stops! He could have done better but he's been stitched right up at the crucial moment.

Leicester waiting for Taylor to give them the usual supply of pens against us.

The problem is he comes out and then stops.

There's a Cambridge astrophysicist called John Harrison who does really good analyses of goalkeeping across the league and he worked out there's 3 dominant strategies by goalkeepers. Charge out, stay on your line, or charge and then stop.

Eddie does the last and it's the worst of the 3. It doesn't force the striker to make a decision far away enough from goal to make them miss, and it gives you no reaction time compared to staying on the line.

He did a really good thread on it on twitter.

That’s really interesting, cheers for posting. And yes, it seems he has a point.
