A few getting on Alvarez’s case. He couldn’t have done much more that half. He has run his arse off trying to apply pressure. The problem with this Cuty team is we lack leg speed. So when we do get a break it’s invariably snuffed out because the opposition team gets so many players back. The best break we had in that half when Jack brought the ball down (35-40min) was still 6 players goal side for Leicester at the point he passed it. City had 2 level or forward with Jack.

We’re playing a team that has zero interest in their back 4/5 doing anything other than defend. And a midfield that is supporting them. They are going to camp out all match and hoof for the speed merchant.

They’re killing the game. Boring as fuck. But they’re entitled to. Can’t see us breaking through with this team. Subs might make a difference eg Phil
True, but I can see us breaking through eventually. Grealish has a case with some of those pen decisions; I think he will have a big say in the our opening goal when it happens.

Attack v Defense.

Will take something special today,a player getting in behind the defense

Likely when Phil comes on for the ineffective Grealish.

Starting to wonder what it is the point in him.Never takes a Man on,just does the same thing over, and over every time he plays.Run down the Wing fail to cross, lose Ball.fall over.
alvarez is against back 5 and no chance for service. He needs support from somewhere

We move Jesus and Sterling on, to bring in Haalands success.

Now Haalands out v 5:4:1 it's heavy going to carve out a chance

Pep will sort it out. We need higher tempo and sharper passing.

Defence, Stones allowed Barnes to get shot in or cross everytime
