Haaland made about three or four great runs in behind in that half but was ignored as we just kept the ball doing nothing with it. Seems it's going to take a while to learn how to play with a striker again.

Hate to say it, but agree.

Looked by far our best player in our previous two pre-season matches but has been awful (by his or any standard) this half.

Expecting a stormer in the second half, though.

We have played with a False 9 for 2 years,

And you can tell.

Will take time for the front players to adapt.......Maybe not Mahrez,he sees Goal it is all about Mahrez,and Mahrez only .

We've got better chances than them even when our physical form is clearly inferior. That should say it all.

Quite confident we are going to be better than them again.

Some poor performances in general, but overall a positive match

very poor from our wingers, Grealish, Mahrez need to wake up and be an asset to the team.

Walker playing much more attacking role today than last season, probably a sign of things to come with pushing both fullbacks more ahead.

We need to check if Alvarez can play the right wing role, have a feeling we will need someone there when Mahrez is off form for weeks or out injured etc.

Haaland is finding it hard, he has some catching up to do, PL is more intense, more running etc, still did have two good chances with mediocre finishes.

KDb also off his best, his touches, weight of his passes pretty shit so far. can only get better.

Foden, Alvarez hopefully can bring in bit more energy second half. wanna see Palmer too.
