Snatch your hands off for the score to stay the same at full time. Take a point and hopefully not have to return to this dump again this season.

No, no, no, we are better than that, we want to grab a win here and shut them all up, bleating on about clanfield blah blah blah, even sweeter if Sterling grabs the winner :)

Ah well, poor first 10 minutes but we have recovered well and are well in this game. We need more from our two wide players, they are not getting past their markers at pace and it is all a bit pedestrian up front. Kun not at the races at the moment.
Good from Laporte, Stones, B Silva but the rest need to show what they are capable of. Can't help but think Sane would be relishing this.

Tactically a huge step forward, but too many players playing like they've share themselves. Mendy - waste of space, Sterling ditto (yet again at Anfield), Mahrez rubbish.

We need to slightly up the tempo as these fuckers are knackered. I am not sure Mahrez has ever kicked a ball with his right foot.

Trouble is every team knows that

The good is that City resisted the early intensity from Klopp's tactics, the Anfield crowd are a non-factor and they're getting more possession in the Liverpool half. Still, early 2nd half pressure will be a factor again but I do get a sense that City are gaining confidence. Sane coming on for Mahrez and moving Sterling back out wide right would be a good sub before the hour mark if the match remains level

Rode out the storm, should have had a pen. Not a bad half. Just need to step up now and create some chances

Happy with that, completely stifled them.

We've not had much going forward but we've had to sacrifice something in order to be defensively solid.

Might look to stretch it late on with Sane when they often get tired.
