We’re actually playing quite well, but the problem is that we are too often seeing players get out of shape and standing in a vertical line(Bernardo, Foden, Alvarez) and that literally narrows the passing options. We also have players taking too many touches (Bernardo, Grealish) when an earlier release is needed.
Always been it for me, an earlier release but I always wonder and ask myself if it’s tactical. First or second season, it went from back to front so quickly. Yes, those times have gone but for the fact that it’s normal to hold on for longer, I always think it’s tactical.

Phil is one of a few, and Rico that can’t curb his instincts once he gets on the turn.
 
JFC the cunts on this thread. City played well first half. 10 shots to Luton's 2. Conceded to a jammy goal which is unfortunately far too common.

I'd have Walker off for Akanji, though.
