Not controlling the midfield at all. Yaya-Fernandhino in 442 just doesn't seem to be clicking.

There's a pattern occurring. Yaya was in a more attacking position in title winning season. Last two years he's been deeper, Barry's and Garcia had poor seasons last year and fernandinho isn't looking great. Yaya is best suited in a 5 man midfield.

Fernandinho and Toure do not work in the middle. They need someone else in there to help them. This could be a disaster of a season as if Rodwell gets injured we are royally fucked.

Exactly... we could and should have scored 3 in the second half against Cardiff. They didn't keep up that pace of gang tackling.
